Rogue Pickings
HTML and CSS from Photoshop Design Comp
Single page website demonstration using basic HTML and CSS foundational skills. Project was accurately converted from a Photoshop Design Comp. Cleanly coded utilizing industry best practices including cleanly ordered code, proper syntax, naming conventions and organizational elements. I first developed a static version then later converted the webpage into a responsive version to accommodate mobile devices.

Functional website project for fictional client using attractive design and nicely formatted, semantic HTML5 with organized CSS3 for easy readability, elegant stylization and a clear message. While working on this project I became more familiar with web development skills, WC3 Standards, text editor basics, common design layouts, elements, patterns and trends, Adobe Photoshop, version control and the vast GitHub community.
Holstee Manifesto
HTML and CSS Creative Exercise
Individual rendition of selections from the famous Holstee Manifesto. This is a version of one of my first hands-on coding exercises where I had to figure out positioning of the blocks, allowing me to put newly learned code into practice. I was also introduced to color theory, experimenting with different color schemes. First I recreated the specific layout into code, then later added more advanced CSS techniques, using grid properties to create a fully responsive version.
